Mark started his career working as a primary school teacher in Sydney and London before moving out of the classroom and into administrative roles coordinating professional learning in early education and care.
He worked at the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) as a project officer on the Australian Curriculum Review, as well as Digital Technologies in Focus (DTF). DTF was a project to support disadvantaged schools across Australia in their efforts to implement the new Digital Technologies curriculum.
Mark played an integral role in supporting the team members and steering committee. He also coordinated project administration and monitored and reported on project deliverables. Before joining the university, he worked at Sydney World Pride where he was part of the project management office. Currently Mark is the Programs Manager for Sydney Institute for Community Languages Education at The University of Sydney.
